Food For The Poor Canada (FFPC) has joined a growing list of Canadian charities in a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to financially support the charitable sector with a $10 billion emergency fund.

In light of the current global pandemic, COVID-19, countries around the world are scrambling to source adequate medical supplies to brace for a surge of patients who will need care.

Ten years ago, on January 12, 2010, a powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake rocked the capital Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The earthquake claimed the lives of more than 250,000 individuals and destroyed over 1.3 million homes, forever changing the landscape of Haiti and its people.

Food For The Poor Canada launched the It Takes A Village to Build A Village campaign in September 2018 with the goal of building sixty homes in the village of Derac, Haiti.
