We continue to ship medicine and educational supplies to the communities we serve. This is to ensure children and their families are well equipped in school and stay healthy. Since the beginning of 2022 you have sent 4 shipments of mixed supplies. They went to Jamaica, Honduras, Haiti, as well as Guyana.

You might be wondering what got packed into these containers?

The shipments included a mixed assortment of supplies. It included food, medicine, medical equipment, and PPE. There were also menstrual products, water purification tablets, backpacks, school supplies, shoes, and books.

These shipments wouldn’t be possible without our amazing partners:

  • HPIC
  • The Kamille Project
  • Golf For Guyana Committee, Golfers and Donors
  • Help a Girl OutHelp a Girl Out runs programs to address the inequality in access to period products. This includes making kits containing period and hygiene products to those in need. Along with Help a Girl Out, FFPC has shipped 270 kits for distribution to young women living in children’s homes. Included are: pads, tampons, menstrual cups, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, soap, and underwear.
  • The JAG Brothers – Nine-year-old Jalon and six-year-old Jaxon are Jamaican superheroes. They are also the founders of The JAG Brothers Initiative. Jalon and Jaxon are Registered Environmental Stewards and Literacy Ambassadors. The brothers encourage children to unleash their superpowers. Take action! Make a difference! Working alongside grassroots organizations, the brothers are on a mission to donate books and establish reading nooks in schools across Jamaica.

FFPC continues to raise funds for shipping and distribution. This allows us to provide food and medicine to those who need it most. This year, we are focusing on food security to address the worsening hunger crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing war in Ukraine, climate change, and increasing food and energy prices are all factors in this issue.

We are asking you to help raise 5 million meals in 2022. One meal at a time. One child at a time. One family at a time.
