We continue to ship medicine and educational supplies to the communities we serve. This is to ensure children and their families are well equipped in school and stay healthy. Since the beginning of 2022 you have sent 4 shipments of mixed supplies. They went to Jamaica, Honduras, Haiti, as well as Guyana.
You might be wondering what got packed into these containers?
The shipments included a mixed assortment of supplies. It included food, medicine, medical equipment, and PPE. There were also menstrual products, water purification tablets, backpacks, school supplies, shoes, and books.

More than 2,379,950 meals distributed across Jamaica, Honduras, and Haiti.
2 solar food dehydrators to provide greater access to food
Medicine and PPE valued at more than $1.7 million to Honduras and Jamaica. Distribution was to hospitals and health centres along with PPE
400 backpacks filled with school supplies to Baramita, Guyana. This included soccer clothing and equipment, as well as 400 pairs of shoes . Each pair of shoes expands up to 5 sizes as a child’s feet grow!
More than 1.9 million aqua tablets for water purification. These are for inclusion in disaster relief kits to Honduras and Haiti
270 menstrual hygiene kits for young women living in children’s homes in Jamaica. This will provide greater access to sanitary and hygiene products not readily available
Mixed medical equipment to the Women’s Health Network Jamaica

Help a Girl Out – Help a Girl Out runs programs to address the inequality in access to period products. This includes making kits containing period and hygiene products to those in need. Along with Help a Girl Out, FFPC has shipped 270 kits for distribution to young women living in children’s homes. Included are: pads, tampons, menstrual cups, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, soap, and underwear.
The JAG Brothers – Nine-year-old Jalon and six-year-old Jaxon are Jamaican superheroes. They are also the founders of The JAG Brothers Initiative. Jalon and Jaxon are Registered Environmental Stewards and Literacy Ambassadors. The brothers encourage children to unleash their superpowers. Take action! Make a difference!Working alongside grassroots organizations, the brothers are on a mission to donate books and establish reading nooks in schools across Jamaica.
