During the last school year, students received a daily meal at school to provide them with nutrition and energy to get them through the day. Because of donors like you, we have been able to provide greater access to food security for both students and their families.
“We wish to express our sincere appreciation for the food items that were donated to our institution. We are truly grateful for these donations as they have truly been a blessing to our school family and the larger community. Through these donations, we have been able to put smiles on our children’s faces as they receive their packages. They enjoyed eating their lunches, especially the sausages.” – Mrs. Opal Brown, Principal of Lower Buxton Infant School in St. Ann
“The gift has helped to improve the operation at the canteen both for students and administration. The provision and quantity of the products have gone a long way in offsetting the overall cost of running the facility. Students have also benefitted from the nutritional value of the items as well as the fact that they are able defray the cost of lunch.”
“Our canteen staff have also benefitted from the donation as the items are readily available to them and workload has been lessened because of the convenience of using the items. They are able to carry out their responsibilities in a more efficient and timely manner. The major difference since we have received this support is that we are better able to cater to the nutritional needs of our students as well as manage our finances more efficiently.”
“The support from FFP has strengthened our confidence in the altruistic nature of your organization. It helps to support our commitment to providing a daily nutritious meal for all our students, thus creating a more learner-friendly environment. We are indeed grateful for your generous support.” – Ms. Keisha Reid, Acting Principal of Park Mountain Primary and Infant School in St. Elizabeth
1,400 infant and primary students across 25 Jamaican schools received a daily, hot meal to stay energized and focused on schoolwork.
