On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Food For The Poor Canada participated in a fundraising luncheon and auction in support of Haiti. The event was hosted by the Heads of Mission Spouses Association who supported our efforts in Haiti by donating money to build a roof for a school destroyed by Hurricane Matthew.
Food For The Poor Canada was represented by Samantha Mahfood, Executive Director and Robert Ready, Vice-chair of the board. “We are so honoured to work with women from all over the world to replace the roof for a school in Haiti, on International Women’s Day”, said Samantha.
