Donate to Baramita

This year, golfers are supporting two education projects for children in Baramita

Learning Pods in Partnership with STEMGuyana

Learning Pods are intended to help fill the gaps in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education. We will support one learning pod in Baramita:

  • 20 students between grades 1-6
  • 4 STEM learning sessions and one tech session per week
  • 40 weeks - an entire school year.
  • Program costs cover: 2 robotic kits, 2 laptops, 1 projector, 7 tablets, stipends for teachers, and more

TVET Training in Partnership with the Ministry of Education

This program will entail upgrading the facilities and equipment used in the new school to enhance the quality of vocational training for students in grades 7-9. This includes the installation of security grills on windows and doors, construction of 3 sewing tables and one garment cutting table with shelves, and more. As part of the sustainability of this program, the Ministry of Education will be responsible for the staffing costs of all teachers.
