The children of Little London had a special back to school experience in September: A brand new infant department for ages 3-6, increasing the school’s capacity to 120 children!

The kids were literally running around in excitement on the first day of school admiring the large and beautiful new building painted in blue and yellow – Food For The Poor’s signature colors.

Little London Infant School was built by Food For The Poor Canada and Food For The Poor Jamaica in partnership with Helping Hands Jamaica, the Stephen Tulloch Foundation and more than 30 volunteers in June, 2017.

Thanks to the collective effort by volunteers and donors from Canada and the United States, the children of Little London now have additional space for learning and growing which also benefits teachers, parents and the community at large.
