To provide greater access to food and income in San Antonio, FFPC is constructing a chicken shed for 16 women and will distribute 300 hens, 30 roosters, feeders, drinkers, and 60 bags of feed for chickens.

The women's income-generation centre in San Antonio, Honduras is complete! It will provide the women in the community with a space for training, empowerment workshops, and equipment for learning skills such as sewing and baking. These workshops will help them make an income to support their families.

In February, FFPG facilitated a medical outreach program in the remote village of Baramita to address the lack of access to healthcare services. Over 3 days, doctors and dentists attended to more than 400 adult and child patients.

Your scholarships have allowed 22 adult students begin their training to become fully licensed commercial truck drivers.

13 coffee farmers from San Antonio have received 3,000 coffee plants each, along with agricultural inputs, tools, and training.

70 students now have access to tablets!

Fay Ferguson is a monthly donor with Food For The Poor Canada (FFPC). This started during the Covid-19 pandemic. She says that FFPC is “right where my heart is.”

Over the course of four days our committed volunteers - the Josephs family, Helping Hands Jamaica and Kisko helped complete the Bourne Gordon's Pre-school and Kindergarten in Linstead, St. Catherine. They painted, hammered (and danced!) for Jamaica’s youngest learners. This was the 25th school built in partnership with FFPC by the Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation.
